Who we are

Yorkshire Ag Drones is an independent introducer service. We connect farmers, growers and estate managers in Yorkshire with certified agricultural drone pilots from the AutoSpray Systems Pilot Network (ASPN). We do not own, operate or insure any drones ourselves.

What we do, and what we don't do

• We do: take your enquiry, pick a pilot from the ASPN network we judge best suited to your job and area, and pass your details on so the pilot can quote you direct.
• We don't: fly the drone, supply the seed, fertiliser or other inputs, set the price, agree the contract, carry out the work, or guarantee the result.

Any contract for drone work is between you and the pilot (or their company). We are not a party to that contract.

The quote is free

We do not charge farmers for using this service. Quotes from pilots are free and come with no obligation. You are under no pressure to go ahead with any pilot we introduce you to.

Pilot certification

ASPN pilots fly under AutoSpray Systems Ltd's CAA Operational Authorisation OA UAS 14429. They typically also hold the Lantra Award for UAV Application of Pesticides and Other Materials, GVC qualification and operator-specific training. You can ask any pilot we introduce you to for proof of their certification, insurance and risk assessments before work starts.

What we are not responsible for

Because we are an introducer and not the operator, we are not responsible for:

• The quality, timing, price or outcome of the work the pilot carries out
• Any damage to crops, land, buildings, livestock or equipment
• Any loss of yield, income or profit arising from the work
• Any breach of contract by the pilot
• Any regulatory compliance failure by the pilot

The pilot you contract with carries their own public liability insurance and is responsible for their own work. If something goes wrong, your remedy is against the pilot, not against us. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under English law.

Information on this website

We try hard to keep the content of this website accurate, especially the regulatory facts and the SFI rates we quote. Rates and rules change, so always check the live gov.uk handbook or speak to your agronomist before making a decision based on something you read here. We are not your agronomist or your legal adviser.

Acceptable use

Don't use this site to send us spam, scrape it, attack it, or submit anyone else's personal data without their permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
