Who we are
Yorkshire Ag Drones is an independent introducer service. We connect farmers, growers and estate managers in Yorkshire with certified agricultural drone pilots from the AutoSpray Systems Pilot Network (ASPN). We are the data controller for the personal information you give us through this website.
What we collect
When you fill in our quote form, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email
- Your farm or business name (optional)
- Farm postcode
- What kind of drone work you need, rough size of the job, and timing
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the notes box
We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. If we add basic visitor analytics (for example Cloudflare Web Analytics), it will be privacy-friendly and aggregated — no personal profiles.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
We collect this information so we can pass your enquiry to a certified ASPN pilot in your area, and so they can quote you direct. Our lawful basis under UK GDPR is your consent — you tick the consent box on the form before we receive anything. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We share your enquiry with one ASPN-certified pilot — the one we judge best suited to your job and area. That pilot may then contact you direct. We do not sell your data, we do not pass it to advertisers, and we do not share it with anyone outside the ASPN network.
The technical bits of running the website (hosting, form processing, email) involve a small number of third-party providers acting as our data processors. We will list them here once finalised before launch.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months so we can follow up on jobs and answer any questions. After that we delete them, unless you've become a regular customer or there's a legal reason to keep them longer.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to how we use it, or to take a copy elsewhere. To do any of these, email us. We'll respond within one month.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
